We dive into the needs pyramid and show you how basic physical needs, safety, social contact and appreciation form the foundation for successful training. With clear and consistent leadership, you build trust, while non-violent methods ensure that your dog learns without fear or punishment. Supplemented by practical exercises and valuable tips, you will be able to lead your dog safely and confidently on the Leash - and build a strong bond in the process.
The sausage water track is an exciting sniffing exercise that challenges your dog mentally and motivates him with a tasty reward. Following a trail made with sausage water not only keeps your dog busy, but also trains his ability to concentrate. This exercise combines the two favourite activities of many dogs - sniffing and Eat - and gives you the opportunity to get creative with your walk. Day 56 shows you how to create a scent trail and gradually increase the difficulty.
