Our Vitomalia buckle only opens when both sides are activated at the same time - for maximum safety in everyday use. It is made of extremely lightweight but highly durable hard aluminium and remains comfortable to wear even with wide collar designs.

Reinforced D-ring made of anodised stainless steel

The extra thick D-ring was specially developed for the Extreme Edition Collar. Depending on the width, it can carry loads of up to 800 kg. The black anodised finish ensures corrosion protection and an elegant appearance - even under heavy use.

The specially developed magnetic handle lies flat on the Collar and can be gripped at lightning speed in dangerous situations. Thanks to strong magnets, it stays securely in place without getting in the way when running or playing. Padded on the inside, it protects your palm even when pulled hard.

The protruding softshell lining relieves your dog's sensitive neck area, distributes the pressure evenly and prevents chafing or cutting. Particularly suitable for dogs that pull strongly on the Leash or are sensitive to neck pressure.

The Extreme Edition was designed for everyday situations where reliable hardware and quick response are essential. The extra-strong D-ring, the double-secured buckle, the magnetic handle, and the raised inner lining work together seamlessly to ensure safety, comfort, and control.

Usage & Fit

This Collar is suitable for large dogs and for everyday situations where you need to rely on your equipment. Choose the width based on your dog’s build, the desired contact area, and the overall look, and measure the neck circumference snugly at the narrowest part of the neck.

Care & Materials

The Extreme Edition is designed for regular everyday use and is easy to care for. Wash the Collar by hand or on a gentle cycle in a laundry bag at 30°C, then let it air dry.

Warum wir unsere Halsbänder selbst entwickeln.

2015 haben wir angefangen, unseren Hundealltag und unser Wissen auf YouTube zu teilen. Aus diesen Videos ist eine Community entstanden – und aus den Bedürfnissen unserer Hunde Vitomalia.

Für das kurze, empfindliche Fell von Vito und Amalia nähten wir die ersten Halsbänder mit abstehender Innenfütterung selbst. Heute entwickeln wir jedes Design und lassen unsere Hardware speziell fertigen und prüfen.

Wir stehen mit unserem Gesicht dafür: Lui als Hundeverhaltenstherapeut und Paulina als Hundewissenschaftlerin.

Is the Collar really safe for strong and pulling dogs?

Yes, the Extreme Edition Collar was specially developed for strong dogs. The hard aluminium buckle only opens when pressure is applied to both sides at the same time - a double safety mechanism that holds reliably even when pulled hard. In addition, the reinforced stainless steel D-rings with a high breaking load ensure maximum stability.

What is the magnetic handle for - and can my dog get stuck on it?

The magnetic handle is designed for quick control in critical situations. It lies flat on the Collar thanks to strong magnets and does not stick out. This prevents your dog from getting caught on branches, bushes or objects while running or romping. The loop is softly lined on the inside and protects your hand even when pulled hard.

What are the benefits of the protruding inner lining - and how does it differ from other collars?

The protruding inner lining prevents pressure points and friction. It distributes the pull evenly over the neck area and reduces the risk of skin irritation. Unlike many standard collars, it does not press directly on the neck, but provides cushioning and protection - especially for dogs that like to pull or are sensitive.

Can the Collar be washed and how do I care for it properly?

Yes, the Collar is easy to clean. Light soiling can be removed with lukewarm water. If it is very dirty, you can wash it in the washing bag provided at 30 °C on the hand wash programme without detergent. Instead of detergent, use vinegar or washing soda - this is gentler on the dog and the material.

Which dogs is the Extreme Edition Collar suitable for - and when should I take it off?

It is suitable for medium-sized to large, active and strong dogs. It is particularly recommended for dogs with a strong lead or a sensitive neck. We recommend that you only wear the Collar when actively walking your dog and take it off at home to maintain its durability and comfort in the long term.
