If you need maximum control in traffic, at the vet or in challenging situations, this 1.2 m lead from the Extreme Edition is your reliable companion. It has been specially developed for dog owners who do not want to compromise on safety and comfort over short distances.

The heart of the Leash is the innovative frog carabiner made of hard aluminium - particularly light but extremely resilient. The carabiner only opens when both sides are activated simultaneously and closes automatically when hooked in. No jamming, no accidental opening - it remains absolutely reliable even when pulled hard.
The breaking load is up to 600 kg, depending on the selected width.

The integrated wrist strap is lined with soft neoprene and fits comfortably in the hand. It protects your palm from pressure and ensures optimum grip - even in the rain or cold. The fixed leash length of 1.2 m is ideal for situations where you want your dog to stay close to you, e.g. in traffic or during dog training.

Made from tear-resistant nylon and equipped with black anodised stainless steel parts, the Leash is not only robust and durable, but also water-repellent and easy to clean. Scratches on the surface do not affect its function or safety.

Application

The Extreme Edition is suitable for medium to large dogs that use a lot of strength. The carabiner has a double safety lock that only opens the carabiner when both snaps are used. A leash is suitable for short distances or distances where the dog has to be closely guided (leash walking). This includes the city center, visits to the vet, on public transport, etc.

Product care

Our Vitomalia Collars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses are made of nylon material with neoprene lining. We recommend that you store Vitomalia Collars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses at home after use. This keeps the products looking good for a long time and prevents unnecessary wear and tear at home.
We already use the highest quality coatings, but black metal parts can wear and scratch.
For light soiling, we recommend washing the products for 2 minutes under lukewarm water with a little rubbing on the soiling. You don't need any detergent for this, just lukewarm water and your hands.
If heavily soiled, Vitomalia Collars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses can be washed in the washing machine in the washing bag provided on a 30 °C hand wash programme. Please do not use detergent for dog itemsCollars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses, but also dog bed covers)! Washing soda or a little vinegar is perfectly adequate. Detergent is too strongly perfumed for our dogs and very unpleasant. Vinegar and washing soda remove bacteria and keep the colour fresh for a long time.
Due to the metal details, we recommend that you also put other laundry (e.g. the dog blankets) in the wash as a kind of buffer to prevent your washing machine from being damaged by the metal details.
