The hard aluminium carabiner only opens when pressure is applied to both sides simultaneously - so it remains securely closed even when pulled hard. It closes automatically when hooked in and is particularly light, stable and reliable in everyday use.

Neoprene-lined hand strap

The padded loop lies comfortably in the hand and protects your skin in the event of a sudden jerk or strong pull. It remains grippy even when wet and ensures safe handling - especially for strong dogs.

Depending on the version, the Leash can withstand a breaking load of up to 600 kg. The tear-resistant nylon is water-repellent, quick-drying and easy to clean - ideal for everyday use, sport and all weathers.

Usage & Fit

This leash is suitable for medium to large dogs and for situations where your dog needs to stay close to you. The fixed length of 1.2 m allows for short, clear guidance in the city, during training, at the vet, or in other close everyday situations.

Care & Materials

Our Vitomalia Collars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses are made of nylon material with neoprene lining. We recommend that you store Vitomalia Collars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses at home after use. This keeps the products looking good for a long time and prevents unnecessary wear and tear at home.
We already use the highest quality coatings, but black metal parts can wear and scratch.
For light soiling, we recommend washing the products for 2 minutes under lukewarm water with a little rubbing on the soiling. You don't need any detergent for this, just lukewarm water and your hands.
If heavily soiled, Vitomalia Collars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses can be washed in the washing machine in the washing bag provided on a 30 °C hand wash programme. Please do not use detergent for dog itemsCollars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses, but also dog bed covers)! Washing soda or a little vinegar is perfectly adequate. Detergent is too strongly perfumed and very unpleasant for our dogs. Vinegar and washing soda remove bacteria and keep the colour fresh for a long time.
Due to the metal details, we recommend that you also put other laundry (e.g. the dog blankets) in the wash as a kind of buffer to prevent your washing machine from being damaged by the metal details.

Can I also use the Leash in the rain or in water?

Yes, but with restrictions. The Leash is water-repellent, but can get wet and is not designed as a special water leash. For intensive water activities, we recommend our Aqua Edition - this is optimised for this.

Is the hand strap really comfortable?

Absolute. The strap is padded with neoprene and protects your hand when pulling hard. It remains grippy and comfortable to hold even in cold and wet conditions.

How do I care for the Leash properly?

If necessary, clean them with lukewarm water or wash them at 30 °C on a gentle cycle. Use the wash bag and avoid using perfumed detergents - vinegar or washing soda will suffice.
