Winter Coat for dogs - anthracite

The Winter Coat from Vitomalia was developed specifically for cold, wet, and dark days – with maximum protection in temperatures down to -30 °C. It gives your dog warmth, safety, and comfort in a coat that makes no compromises.

The fully reflective outer material is windproof and waterproof (6000 mm water column) and ensures visibility in the dark. The inner lining and padding are also made from recycled material – a clear statement for functionality and sustainability.

The insulating padding is divided into several chambers. This keeps the filling in place even during movement, and the warmth is distributed evenly across the entire body – no slipping, no cooling down.

The fit is close to the body and individually adjustable: At the back, the coat can be shortened by up to 5 cm, while elastic inserts at the neck and nape ensure an optimal fit. The chest and belly are protected by a special, particularly easy-care material – exactly where dirt builds up fastest.

Instead of hook-and-loop fasteners, we use robust buckles and a water-resistant zipper on the back. This allows you to safely attach your dog to the Harness even in heavy rain – without moisture getting in. An opening at the neck was deliberately omitted, as the length of the back section still allows attachment to the Collar.

How to put the Winter Coat on correctly:

Putting on the coat: Carefully place the coat over your dog’s back so that it sits evenly and fully covers the back. Fasten the strap around the belly with the sturdy buckle and tighten it so the coat sits securely, but is not too tight. Make sure the coat does not slip and fits well.

Adjusting for the right fit: Adjust the collar so that it sits comfortably around your dog’s neck without restricting it. Adjust the back length using the adjustment options to ensure the optimal length for your dog. This prevents the coat from slipping and provides maximum comfort.

Attaching the leash: Open the water-resistant zipper on the back to attach the Dog Harness through the zipper opening. Close the zipper carefully so that no water or snow can get in and the coat stays securely in place.

Checking and adjusting: Regularly check whether the coat fits well and shows no signs of wear. If needed, make adjustments to ensure your dog is always well protected and comfortable on the go.

To help your Winter Coat last a long time, please follow these care instructions:

Cleaning: The coat can be machine washed at a low temperature (max. 30°C). Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach or harsh cleaning agents. Alternatively, you can wash the coat by hand by gently rubbing it in lukewarm water with a mild cleaning agent.

Drying: Allow the coat to air dry and avoid direct sunlight to protect the material and colors. Hang the coat up to dry and do not use a tumble dryer, as high temperatures could damage the materials and the reflective properties.

Care and maintenance: Check the coat regularly for signs of wear, especially on the zippers and belt fasteners. Repair any damage promptly to ensure the product lasts as long as possible. Clean the neoprene sides with a damp cloth as needed to remove dirt and maintain comfort.

Storage: Store the coat in a dry, well-ventilated place when it is not in use. Avoid damp or heavily heated rooms to keep the material in good condition.

⏱ Shipping process

Orders received Monday-Friday by 12:00 noon are usually dispatched on the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 noon will be processed the following working day.

Pre-orders and unpaid orders are excluded from this time frame.

🧭 Shipping from multiple warehouses

We ship from fulfilment centres in Germany and Poland. If your order is split into several parcels for logistical reasons or comes from both warehouses, we only charge the shipping costs once per order.

🇨🇭 Shipping to Switzerland - please note the import fees

We are a Swiss company, but our warehouses are located in the EU. Shipping to Switzerland is an import. In addition to the purchase price, import duties may apply, e.g:

• Swiss value added tax (currently 8.1 %)
• Processing fees of the delivery service / Swiss customs (variable)
  

Unfortunately, we cannot cover these fees in advance; they will be charged by the shipping service provider upon delivery. Please take these additional costs into account when placing your order.
