Despite its soft surface, it is extremely hard-wearing: With a weight of 540 g/m² and a tested abrasion resistance of 45,000 cycles, it can withstand daily use. Thanks to its high light fastness (6), the colour remains fresh for a long time, even in direct sunlight.

Its fluffy structure makes it particularly suitable for dogs that like to lie softly and are looking for a feeling of warmth and security - from puppies to senior citizens.

Suitable for everyday use and easy to clean

Even though the bed itself is supplied with separate moisture protection, the RePET Teddy cover is inherently water and dirt repellent. Liquids roll off thanks to the lotus effect and can be easily removed with a damp cloth.

The OrthoPawdic® Cover Donut Dog Bed cover – RePET teddy was designed so you can change it yourself quickly and easily. Thanks to its precisely fitted shape and durable YKK zippers, the cover can be put on and removed effortlessly – without force or slipping.

Removing the cover:
Open the YKK zipper and carefully remove the existing cover from the OrthoPawdic® Donut Dog Bed. The integrated dirt and moisture protection remains inside the bed.

Putting on the new cover:
Place the new RePET teddy cover evenly over the bed and close the zipper completely. Thanks to the shape-retaining material, the cover sits smooth and crease-free straight away.

Everyday care:
You can simply wipe away minor dirt with a damp cloth. For thorough cleaning, the cover can be washed at 30 °C on a gentle cycle and then air-dried.

Seasonal change or design adjustment:
Use the teddy cover as a stylish alternative to other fabric options (e.g. RePET Linen) – ideal for warmer months or for a more refined look in your living space.

Regular cleaning

Light soiling: Wipe with a damp, soft cloth – liquids simply bead off thanks to the water-repellent coating.

Daily care: Shake out or vacuum the cover occasionally to remove dust and pet hair.

Thorough cleaning

Machine washable: The cover can be washed at 30 °C on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent without bleach or fabric softener.

Drying: Please do not tumble dry. Instead, lay flat to air dry or hang up – this helps preserve its shape and coating for a long time.

Ironing: Ironing is not necessary; if desired, iron only at a low temperature with a cloth in between.

Long-term care & durability

Material protection: Regular, gentle cleaning keeps the water-repellent surface intact and maintains its protective effect.

Zip care: Make sure to fully close the YKK zip before washing the cover – this protects both the zip and the fabric.
