The frog carabiner only opens when secured twice, holds up to 600 kg of pulling force and remains reliably closed even under intensive load. Made from hard aluminium - light, strong and safe for everyday use.

The padded neoprene lining protects your palm, even with dogs that pull hard. It lies comfortably in the hand, remains grippy even when wet and ensures safe handling in all weathers.

Two widths for every type of dog

Choose between 2 cm for medium-sized dogs or 3 cm for large dogs. The carabiner sizes are perfectly matched to the leash width and guarantee maximum stability and control in every version - just as you need it.

Three-way adjustable for full flexibility

The Leash is adjustable in length and can also be attached twice to the Collar and Harness. This allows you to guide your dog flexibly depending on the situation and teach him structured freedom at the same time.

Usage & Fit

The leash is suitable for medium to large dogs and for dog owners who want to switch between close guidance and more freedom in everyday life. Thanks to its three-way adjustability, the leash can be flexibly adapted and supports clear guidance during walks, training, and typical everyday situations.

Care & Materials

Our Vitomalia Collars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses are made of nylon material with neoprene lining. We recommend that you store Vitomalia Collars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses at home after use. This keeps the products looking good for a long time and prevents unnecessary wear and tear at home.
We already use the highest quality coatings, but black metal parts can wear and scratch.
For light soiling, we recommend washing the products for 2 minutes under lukewarm water with a little rubbing on the soiling. You don't need any detergent, just lukewarm water and your hands.
If heavily soiled, Vitomalia Collars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses can be washed in the washing machine in the washing bag provided on a 30 °C hand wash programme. Please do not use detergent for dog itemsCollars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses, but also dog bed covers)! Washing soda or a little vinegar is perfectly adequate. Detergent is too strongly perfumed for our dogs and very unpleasant. Vinegar and washing soda remove bacteria and keep the colour fresh for a long time.
Due to the metal details, we recommend that you also put other laundry (e.g. the dog blankets) in the wash as a kind of buffer to prevent your washing machine from being damaged by the metal details.

How does the frog carabiner work and is it really safe?

The frog carabiner only opens when pressure is applied to both sides simultaneously - a double safety system. It closes automatically when hooked in and holds reliably even under heavy loads. Ideal for strong and pulling dogs.

Which lead width is right for my dog?

2 cm width is ideal for medium-sized dogs, 3 cm for strong, large dogs. The 3 cm version offers additional control and stability thanks to more material and a larger carabiner.

Can the Leash really withstand heavy pulling?

Yes - depending on the variant, the Leash can withstand a breaking load of up to 600 kg. The frog carabiner made of hard aluminium is extremely sturdy, but at the same time pleasantly light.

Can I also use the Leash in water or in the rain?

Yes, the Leash is water-repellent and quick-drying. It is also suitable for walks in wet conditions or light water activities - but is not designed as a special swimming leash.

What is the best way to care for the Leash?

For daily cleaning, lukewarm water without detergent is sufficient. If they are very dirty, you can clean them in a wash bag at 30 °C using the hand wash programme - preferably with washing soda or vinegar.
