Vitomalia is a German premium brand for dog accessories, dog knowledge, and dog training. Founded in 2015 by dog behavior therapist Lui and canine scientist Paulina – supported by Vito and Amalia, their own dogs. We develop functional, safe, and sustainable equipment, grounded in science and tested in everyday life.

Who we are

Lui — dog behavior therapist

Lui has been working with dogs in behavior therapy for more than ten years. He supports dog owners through complex behavioral issues such as reactivity, aggression, separation anxiety, and uncontrolled pulling on the Leash. His practical experience goes directly into every Vitomalia product: Which Collar can really withstand a 50 kg dog? Which handle allows safe emergency handling? What genuinely protects a reactive dog in everyday life?

Paulina — canine scientist

Paulina has a background in psychology and specializes in dog behavior, bond, and learning. She ensures that Vitomalia does not make decisions based on gut feeling, but on scientific evidence – whether it concerns the choice of materials, ergonomics for dog and dog owner, or the content of the free Vitomalia Online Dog Training Academy.

Vito and Amalia accompany us through every day and every product decision. They are not marketing dogs; they are our family. What they cannot tolerate does not go into production. What they use every day, we can judge firsthand.

Original since 2015

Vitomalia has existed since 2015. What began as a small idea in behavior therapy practice has grown over more than eleven years into a brand that is now active in several European markets – Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and English-speaking markets.

We are not a start-up that scales quickly and worries about quality later. We are a brand that has been built consistently in the same direction for eleven years: premium dog accessories for all breeds, developed by people who work with dogs every day.

What makes us unique

1. Safety that can be verified

Our safety carabiner leashes withstand a 600 kg breaking load in our own load tests. The material is hard aluminum. For comparison: standard carabiners in the dog accessories market typically withstand 80-120 kg. A 40 kg dog sprinting can generate peak loads of 50-100 kg. This gives our carabiners a 5-7 times safety reserve compared with real-world load – and a 6-7 times safety factor compared with competitor standards.

We communicate these values transparently: they are internal Vitomalia tests, not a TÜV or DIN certificate. We do this because a broken carabiner can have serious consequences – and we would rather be transparent than make false promises.

2. Sustainability that is certified

Our Outdoor Edition is made from 100 % recycled materials and is certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100. Our Dog Bed covers are made from recycled RePET fibers, are OEKO-TEX certified, long-lasting, easy-care, and replaceable.

We use YKK zippers on bags and Dog Bed covers – the premium industry standard.
